I'm a 4x4 motorsport person, marshalling, radio safety cover , recovery, marking out courses etc all over the UK. Also a green laner, in fact off Thusday to a meeting with the Brecon Beacons Nat Park. Quiet a bit has been lost due to the NERC Act from last Nov. Sad really, but down to prejudice and political lobbying by the likes of the Ramblers Assoc.

thats a nice jeep jay do u get out in the mud then Hiya - just finished her ready for the MOT sometime in the next few days - got a mate who's an MOT examiner - quite handy!!!!!!
Gotta pick up some Mud tyres - only 195's - and they should be on this weekend'ish. Then off out playing!!!!! Not too sure how much I wanna 'get it stuck' yet, as I only originally bought it for the dog!!!!!
Yes.........she can't get in the F now as I have lovely leather seats and she'd knacker them in a flash. So bought the Zuke, well cheep £100, just to take her up the hills and knacker her out. Can also tow my trailer now so I can take the towbar off the F at last.
Thinking of getting some 2" shackles to give her a slight lift as well - Really want to do a SPOA, but gottta get some use out of her first before I spend any more dosh on her - she's only cost me about £120 in parts and welding wire/gas so far on top of the purchase price, and after the MOT, tax and insurance she should come in at under £500 all in - not bad eh?

I do like the colour Jay ;D looking at pics you've done quite a bit of work on it. Yes - for a Zuke that failed the MOT on 1 small patch of welding, it's turned into almost a weeks worth of it!!!!! Still, the best way to learn how to weld is TOO weld - and i'm getting fairly good already - best to practice on a cheaper vehicle before I do any on Cassie - eh? Still - ready for the MOT as soon as mate picks it up. Drove it up the road today to test the overhauled brakes - she don't handle like an F!!!!! No power steering for starters!!!!

We went up there on the Thursday of the bad snow, no-one was eating there!! I'm on the Brecon Beacons Local Access Forum, so I know all the wardens well. And know where to drive
