By the way, have you all seen the weather forecast for this weekend??? Rain, rain and more rain according to the BBC, but then they forecast rain for last weekend too

My Dad said the crossing can be a bit bumpy even when weather looks good ,but i'm old sea dog ;D and done a lot of Sea fishing from boats,we nearly sank once in very frightenning weather and that was off Penarth quite a fews years ago, i still remember the name of the boat, "Chara" long time ago so i hope i still have my sea legs or will be borrowing some of Oz's pills ;D Chara still bobbing about in Penarth Marina: We went on a Stena Cat last year to Germany, it is fast most seas, but when it slows down in bad weather - watch out ;D I found the best thing was to hang out the back and watch the wash sounds like a good plan Jerry ;D I use to have two boats and do lots of sea fishing in all sorts of Wether ,but one of the people that told me the stena cat is a rough crossing is a fishing buddy who never felt sick on my boat

Sorry everyone - I'm doing a rain dance ;D I waxed the boot lid three times now last night, and still having a go again this morning. If we had it rough in the Highlands, you can have a bit as well ;D This is a one off just for Red Leader and Andrew, never again to be seen shiney, but you can see my underneath anytime.

If the sea is not too bad, the Cat gets up to speed pretty quick and is a quiet smooth. They only slow down in bad weather, then they can pitch around as the hull design is not designed for slow stuff. When it is going at full speed, it's pretty impressive out the back Ho hum, back to polishing the boot lid again. Don't forget, it is a minimum of 1 hour before sailing before clocking in. Come the hour, the shutter comes down, so it is worth getting into the port before the 1 hour minimum is up. No five minutes late nonsense , so it might be worth pressing on and see how we go and if we have time for a coffee at the Sealife whatever? we used on the Pendine Plod.

I waxed the boot lid three times now last night, and still having a go again this morning. Erm why have you done the boot 3 times? If you do it right the first time you only have to do it once You're all putting me to shame, I've done nothing in preparation yet except rung the insurance co. Lastminutemadpanic.com here I come....

Oh one thing I did think of - might we be better wearing our T shirts to travel over rather than to drive round in on saturday? Makes us easily identifiable (for when we fall overboard from the rough seas I mean of course )
