Hi all. Here is the next step in my Boxster evolution, Been wanting to do this ever since I seen the promotional video for the New 911, It's a simple Modification that makes the 3rd high level brake light flash rapidly at first then slows down to a slower flash then returns to a normal brake light, I thought they looked good on the 911 so why not on the 986 (Boxster) and almost forgot they not only look good it's been proven that they lessen the chance of a rear end shunt from dippsey behind you. Here’s the relay:- Not sure what has happened to Photobucket just click on the video below, it needs to load then it takes a few seconds to start, Steven spielberge I'm not, it is very good visual effect for very little bucks,

I spotted your car parked up in Cardiff Bay last week Steve, I kept an eye out but didn't see you around there. In fact I saw you driving from Abergavenny towards Pontypool a couple of weeks ago too but I was in Andy's black volvo so was in disguise lol. You can't go anywhere in these yellow cars without being spotted

Hi Jan. Quote:- "You can't go anywhere in these yellow cars without being spotted” Don’t I know it, glad I'm not having an affair. I often park there it's free for the first hour (but don’t forget you still need to get a free ticket) just enough time to have a wonder around and get a coffee, people watch for a while then go home. Hi All. Long time since I've updated this thread. I've had my black powder coated wheels re-vamped they were ruined due to them having chemicals put on them during valeting one time and from then on they were hell to keep the Gloss finish shiny, at least an hour & half every time to polish and buff them up again, so I was recommended a unit in Blackwood that have been doing "Water Transfer Printing" since it came out and have a very good reputation, this is what they look like now Sorry I haven’t got any photos of them fitted to the car yet but not intending to go into my Black & Yellow stage just yet, give it a few months yet wait till it gets warmer. I think those would look really smart on Andy's car They've done a good job of it, is dipping as hard wearing as painting?

Hi Jan. I've been informed they are the same as having them powder coated, I had them to put an extra lacquer coat on for me as he also knew how concerned I was that they might go the same way as the last time they were done (powder coated) in Cwmbran, too bad Andy has only got 4 stud wheels, he could of borrowed them lol, as he still got his bike ? The Boxster has got some competition again on a sunny day now I have the Ducati Guvs

Yeah he's still got his bike, he's off to the TT races on in May for a week or so. Think it might need dusting off before then though as he's become a bit of a fair weather biker - even more so since he got his TF Thanks for the info about the wheels, it might have to be a DIY project for the time being, but nice to see other options to powder coating or spraying

I've never wanted an electric roof on the F but seeing one in action it does look rather cool...

Thanks chris for taking the time to up load that, if I knew you were videoing it I would of slowed the car down so you could of videoed the complete action start to finish, lol. It's very handy when you're caught out in a shower. Guvs

Hi all. Finally got around to videoing my 3rd High Level Brake light with my LED rear cluster lights, just hope the link works, Also put a cut out switch in for them as not to annoy anyone behind me when in slow moving traffic, they are very bright as I found out when following my son driving while he was driving the Boxster after picking up my Bike from the Garage. Note !! For some reason it will not show a photo of the vedio but just click on the cross above and it takes you to my link. Guvs.
