Looks like a good day was had by all. I spent a cold wet day watching my team lose 2-1 grrrrr. What a waste of a good MG day. Seeing all those great cars, where did we go wrong letting the great name go to China?

Colin, I was trying out my new lens. It's a 70-300 mm Nikon zoom with interactive motion. You switch it between panning mode (when you are stationary and the object is moving eg. race meetings) and a live mode (when you are moving too) the camera/lens set-up knows this and compensates, therefore no shake or blur, I don't even need to change the camera to speed aperture priority. To do it yourself, I would try at least 500th of a second at the camera's selected f stop, good luck. These pictures, there are about 20 in all were taken on the M40 on the way home at speeds I could not put on here (I was not driving so don't blame me). I am looking forward to do this many times on trips where we travel together, so if you see me overtaking or hanging back (while Dawn's driving) smile for the camera Mind you it's not easy at treble figure speeds, try hanging out the car window and see what I mean . My goal, as Dawn is not happy, is to get the MG logo actually upright, it may take some time as you can't even see it at that speed.

I have a few other toys in the camera/lenses department I'm waiting to try out. I can do some artistic stuff for swmgf'ers at MG in the trees in June, the night before for whoever is there. Maybe MGE, SF or FTF will take some up again.
