Back home safe and sound. Was a nice run out but about 1pm the weather looked a bit threatening, so I packed my bags and headed home. Started raining when I was halfway down the M42, but then the sun came out again so I had to stop to put the hood down again - boiling hot!!! Took some photos, uploading them now so will be on the web for you all to see in about 30 minutes. ;D

Shame you missed it Dave, the turnout was fantastic It was really good seeing all MG/Rovers, minis, moggy minors etc as well as F/TFs there. I had a great day - even though I managed to lose Lizzi after Hopwood! I wasn't sure if you'd gone straight home from there Lizzi as I didn't spot you at Cofton Park. I braved the cold wind & occasional showers until just after 3 and then headed for home. It was a great hood down day too even if a little nippy. It was really good to catch up with friends from other areas, and a reminder of what is to come later in the year with Silverstone and Fest etc I even managed to remember to take pics Mine are here (although the ordering of the pics seems to have gone a little wrong!) s201.photobucket.com/albums/aa247/Fast_Jan/2008/PoL%2012-04-08/

You didn't lose me, really. I saw your car in Cofton Park Jan, but when we left Hopwood I that was the last I saw of you. Still, I got chatting to a very nice man about hoods and rear windows and bumped into Al a few times too. ;D

Actually, now you've said that I don't think I saw Al & Steve after I'd parked up either - or a few others that I'm sure were there It was one of those days where there's too many people and not enough time! I came away with some nice goodies though, which only made the day even better I had some gloves and blue roll (thanks Gaz!), a different windstop, a transmission tunnel (to experiment on ), heater knobs and a chrome petrol cap (absolute bargain price of £40 + exchange cap, cheers Adrian ) I enjoyed today for loads of reasons, I just wish it had been a bit longer ;D

Great pics Adrian, if I'd have realised earlier it was you behind me I'd have nipped out and wiped my bumper and taken my temporary windstop off!! Not that I'm vain or anything really I love this pic Edit I give up, I've edited my image link 3 times now and it still doesn't want to work. It's the close up of the wheel in motion though!! edit, done it for you Jan ;D RL edit - it still doesn't work!!!
