Taken from another forum tonight:
HTV Wales local news tonight included coverage of a press event at Walters Arena, as part of the build up to Wales Rally GB.
A familiar little Suzuki had more air time that any competitor.
I didn't see it, anyone spot it?

Back from Scotland last night - left at 3.30, got home at 11.00 Snow on last two nights, lots of cutting trees down to make chicanes by headlights in falling snow - all on in-car video ;D Talk about how many people does it make to construct a chicane ;D ;D Lots of fast driving on snow covered gravel roads, all in the interests in getting back to base to microwave the cold curry made for tea which the others had eaten Lots of drink, **** taking, bed at 12.30, up at 4.30 Wooden huts with good bunks, heating, toilets, hot showers, dining hut - lovely. Better than WRGB wil be.

Stripped the inside of the SJ today to make sure I could recline the seat right down. Cleaned several kilos of dirt, dried mud, dust etc, shampood the carpets to within an inch of their life, and spent the rest of the day packing in all the heat generating facilities Weight has to be a consideration as well, I'm quiet tall to fit in this little car, so everything that goes in has to be evaluated for benefit/weight/space etc. I'm going to try running my generator to run a 500w convector heater, and charge the car battery instead of running the car engine up to temperature from time to time. It should use less petrol, save wear on the car, and keep me warmer. 1st day is Tuesday, up at 04.30 and into Crychan on the finish line of the recce. It all goes downhill from then. If I have a phone signal, I might try phoning you all to see if the Xmas pud is any good, or if I'm better off where I am - where ever that might be

Had the lot today, 1/2 an hour of sun, rain on frosty roads = ice , hailstorm, then thick snow Don't know how Andrew copes with weather like that (north of Llandovery/ Tirabad/Crychan)
