Hi there. Just joined the forum in hopes of making a few connections and seeing what is going on in my area re MG-F and other marques. I have a 2000 (W reg) MGF vv1 in dark green, which I purchased from an acquaintance in mid-north of England at the end of July 2015 Recently had brake refurbishment done as well as some suspension re-gassing plus a few niggles fixed and am really enjoying the new lease of life the car has. Living in Llandovery, and I note that some prior events and drives have passed through my area. The A4069 is a fun road in good weather and I have driven it a couple of times in the MG. Look forward to maybe hearing about other events once the weather cheers up!

Thanks, will check back later. I'm about to pull my jacket and fluffy ear-flaps hat on and go for a spin in mine with the top down, while it is sunny and dry. Epynt Ranges road here I come.

Welcome to the forum.
Lesley and I are planning a run on 10 April to your area - we've been through Llandovery a few times over the last 5 years with the MGFs and the Imp Club (September Sheep Festival). We're planning to go up and around Llyn Briane from Abergwesin, and back to Llandovery for a late lunch. A reversal of last year's April run.
The basics of the route are:
Meet Glynneath A4067 to Sennybridge Over Epynt from Llywel Tirabad and Cefn Gorwydd to Llanwrtyd Wells Abergwesin, around the north of Llyn Briane Back to Llandovery for a late lunch (probably the Kings Head again - very good food and good value last year) then over the A4069 and back to Glynneath.
You are welcome to join us at any point, it's all pretty relaxed. We'll work out timings nearer to the day. We need to find a coffee stop with parking before we leave Llanwrtyd so your local knowledge may be a help.
Hopefully we'll have a good number of cars on the run, with Stavros getting that hard top off !!
Phil

I'll do my best to be available. I know the MOT on my F is due some time around then and I plan on taking it to the garage in Brecon for that who did my brakes etc recently. I may take it early so they can have it a week to get everything done in time for MOT and underside oil-treatment etc. I'll figure your route on maps and throw in my two cents worth if I got anything Today I took it up the 4069 to top of mountain then back again. Very bright and clear, and cold. Think I figured the route on maps, looks to be about 102 miles all around, and some familiar roads, and some I never been on once

If it comes with a hard top I'll bring my can opener!
Does this mean you have it? Or is it still an option in the great dilemma - Orange or White or maybe Black, or maybe Orange. Gotta be Orange - we're not changing your name !

Can't say to much at this stage. ORANGE, WHITE, BLACK, ORANGE, ORANGE, ORANGE. The clues in the colour apparently!!! (your right it does come with a orange hardtop. Or is it white/black)
