Went to see the Wales v Fiji match in Cardiff & had a great day out. However, received a noip from your friendly Gwent police for doing 36mph on the way to the stadium. Having had a clean licence for over 40 years, I was a bit p+ssed off to say the least. I wasn't driving the 160 & used my Merc. E320 auto., which needs a featherweight right foot & as I was looking for direction signs, must have crept over the limit. No excuse really, but have accepted a "speed awareness course" to save getting points. I am sure it will make me a better driver!

That's bad luck, I don't want to be the bearer of bad news bur I'm pretty sure you have to take the speed awareness course in the county you got the speeding ticket so I hope you don't live too far away.

No, I have got my sac booked in Gloucester on the 26/11. Lots of articles in the press regarding how much money the police are getting from these courses.
