I'm thinking of organising a Wales meet something along the lines of the fantastic run Jerry sorted for us back in March, but it's only worthwhile spending time planning a route/run etc if people would actually like to see it happen and be able to attend either one day or for the weekend.
So, over to the good folks of this forum - I know it's difficult to commit before knowing the details, would there be any interest in a Wales run of some kind on the weekend of 13/14th Sept?
All change:
Now just a run out on the Sunday- meeting at Bryngarw at 10.00 and heading to the Swan & Whittington. see below for further details

I'd be interested as holiday commitments all done by then.

good weekend for us too
Looks like interest is building up.
Did you want to sort out a run or shall I fish out an old run from the Dave, Andrew and Jerry days?

Now that's a lot more like it! There's quite a bit of interest from the FB group as well so looks like this one is a definite date for the diaries - now no excuses barring emergencies will be accepted!! I'm happy to sort something Clara but if you've got previous runs handy, I could perhaps use some ideas from them either for this or another day. I'll plan something up over the next few weeks, but if it goes a bit quiet don't panic - this is a definite now, I've just got a few other things on over the next couple of weeks that may take my attention away from sorting the fine details for this. But it will be sorted

Another apology from me - the accommodation venues that I looked into were unable to accommodate enough of us, which then put a spanner in the works on the route I was sort of toying with. I've got commitments the next 2 weekends so no time to plan anything properly for this. I've deferred to Clara and she's planning on doing a run for the Sunday only so not a complete disaster by any means, just not what I'd hoped for all those weeks ago when I started looking at this weekend. Hopefully I'll have a car properly on the road for this, I've got 3 cars and not one of them works properly, in fact 2 are off the road completely at the moment. This year has been a bit of a right-off for me and planning things

I will definitely be planning a run for the Sunday- it may not be the most interesting of runs but it will get us out on the road and blow away a few cobwebs.
I will firm up the details at the weekend and update the forum by Monday

Sorry finalised details at weekend but omitted to tell any one Plan is to meet at Bryngarw House at 10 am (that enables Paul and Fran to stay over if they wish- if they do we will pop over in the evening for a drink- I am sure anyone else would be welcome to join us) There is a coffee shop in the main car park so we can meet for a coffee with the aim to leave by 10.30- 10.45, we will then travel to the Swan at Whittington in Worcester and be there for a meal at 1.30 to 2pm. The run will be a mixture of fast and more interesting roads but I am afraid I haven't got the time to sort out an intricate route. So in good old SWMGF fashion I shall start a list: Ken & Clara
