Just put on a longlife stainless half system and the F sounds nice and raspy now. Was thinking of adding an induction kit, but it has occurred to me that a cone filter would be sucking warm air straight from the engine bay? Doesn't seem a much point in adding one really.
Would appreciate views,
Gary

There's some great induction kits about, Taipan enclosed but expensive,Pipercross,or make up your own enclosed filter, but re Cone K&N open type filter they are great but as you say warm air ot good that's why you need to put a pipe or two 4" from cone and put pipe ends i side ven or fix underneath car facing front, i've had both sorts and they do make a difference, the sound is awesome and adds a few more ponies, some links below which may be of help and sure other members will be along to advise, Dave www.mgf.ultimatemg.com/group2/air_filters/f_fitting.htmwww.the-t-bar.com/media/kunena/attachments/600/AirIntake.pdf
