Hi all, I just wanted to recommend a garage to the mgf owners in my area, I have used this garage for a few of my cars that I have had mainly my alfas, ( also a enthusiast vehical)
Had my cam belt done yesturday on my mgf and very pleased with the price and work they have done to it, my mgf has 61000 miles on the clock and last cam change was in 2008 so was over due, before the cam change the car was running a little rough when reaching its temperature so assumed it was the thermostate temp sensor sending faulty reading to ecu, picked up the car and it has disappeared so the timing must have been well out of whack :-0
Upon speaking to my friendly mechanic he has done quite a few mgf's in my area so I would like to take this opportunity to recommend them
Court garage sevices Nantymoel ,Bridgend CF32 7RJ 01656 849 410
Cost me 275.00 for cambelt change they also do headgaskets if needed, I wouldnt recommend if I didnt trust
Thanks Steve

Thanks Steve
We are lucky as Ken does all the work on our cars but it is really good to have places recommended when people ask.
Please feel free to join us at a pub meet and/or run.

Well at the moment clara my mgf is a working project so its a bit tatty round the edges but I am enjoying doing bits and bobs to it, have a few minor dents and scratches that need sorting out :-) Does your hubby do work for other fellow mgf owners It would be nice to know that there are alternative experts in the field :-) What part of wales are you in ??

Where are in Bridgend.
Whilst Ken does do all the work on the TF he is defo more of a MG midget man having had midgets since the age of 17. Whilst happy to give advise and help when he can Ken is too busy to do work for others- our current project is the complete restoration of a 1972 midget- fingers crossed it will be on the road before the summer!!
