Hi all, first post so please be gentle with me. Hope you guys can help me out here...? So, to cut a long story short I have just had my MGTF HG replaced but the car is still losing coolant with no visible traces to be found. I have bled the system a few times via the radiator & h/matrix bleed points but couldn't do the oil rail bleed point due to limited access. I re-topped up with fresh coolant mix accordingly and still losing fluid at approx 1/2 cup per 10 mile round trip (approx)! I had a 'sniffer test' carried out at a local garage last Friday (4th Jan) which showed no hydro-carbons present and the blue dye staying blue thankfully and shows that the head gasket is good....(Once again, hopefully)! My next step to try and fathom out this really annoying problem is to have a pressure test on the coolant system carried out. My brother-in-law is a very competent mechanic with years of HGV experience, I have asked him if he has a pressure tester to which he replied he has and also access to an overhead lift. So basically, I am asking here for any tips, advice, points to look out for, anything at all that can make me like my car again! I have read elsewhere that no more than 14psi should be applied with some saying 10-11 psi? I have no problem with paying for the car to be fixed, I just want to find the problem so it can be fixed!
HELP !!!

Is the engine overheating? Might be a faulty expansion bottle cap.
