yes, its true. I'm a bad owner for doing bugger all fettling on it in the last six months. Failures were tread depth on a rear tyre, rear n/s brake pipe from T to flexi, and front side lights wrong colour (they are LED's and have a very slight blue tinge to them). New tyres are on order and Jon Norris is coming over to do the pipe as its a complete and utter swine. Please don't think bad of me Jerry !! As an aside, I put half a tank of petrol in the TF today.....the first time I've put any in since we moved here, gone from a full tank each week to half a tank in 6 months, quite a saving.

Please don't think bad of me Jerry !! Bad, bad boy, go and stand in our naughty corner I had seen the news earlier, but couldn't believe it. I'm sure you don't want to hear a smug old git say that all that red oxide primer and black smoothrite keeps everything up to spec People snigger, but it really does pay off if you want to keep a car and do maintenance yourself. I'm sure you can get it sorted, just watch that corrosive sea air
