I've bought one for the TF 'cos I've already got an electric recirculating coolant pump in the system, and in the new year I'm tidying up my silicone hose arrangements in the engine compartment. As it has worked just fine, I'm making it look more OEM with alloy hard tubing and better orientation of the pipe runs. I know no-one ever sees it or cares, but it's a little smug passion that the coolant system is more logical and efficient. I'll probably put the heater in the loop with the intercooler to keep it out of the way and close to the rear bumper for the mains socket. I've been impressed with some of the rally cars testing recently - the cars are hitched up to their service truck generator to pre heat the block before firing up as the tolerances are so tight.

I'm pleased you're pleased I'm pleased ;D Yes, I've always wanted one, and it might be versatile and be able to swop around cars if I can figure out some self sealing (Lockheed) type couplings.
