Hello all. Today after a little advice and encouragement from Dave and my Brother in Law in London who is also an owner I purchased for my wife a little silver 51 plate MGF and I swear she is still smiling as she sleeps. I look forward to reading around the forum and possibly meeting a few of you to pick your brains and gain that o so important insider information on these wonderful little bits of British heritage. As for myself I am a lover also of another British great that being the Land Rover. Not just any though but the rarer Six Cylinder series 2 and 3's and the Carawagon conversions. If you are interested you can read more on my own forum here > www.landrover6pot.org/sixpotforum/index.php?action=forum As I am currently Landy less I am working on my Range Rover Classic LSE which is in need of some TLC. Well that's enough of my waffle for now. Thanks again to Dave and See you around. Roger

Nice one Roger, Mark is a very nice chap as you have found out from my pointer to go to him as he's near you, nice looking F ;D let us know how you got on at Marks at BMS ps hope you don't mind i have resized the F photo you put on even though i have put on an automatic re sizer on the forum, reason is very large photo's can slow up the opening of page of those who look in and are not on fast B/Band,the size i would like pics to be on here if you can do them and anyone else of course is 800 x 600 or smaller then the auto re sizer doesn't have to kick in, many thanks, photo's can be larger if you put them in our ephoto bay gallery no probs, www.ephotobay.com/profile/SWMGF.html, you have pm for user name and password to get into that gallery,it's new and no pics in yet ha ha, Dave

Welcome Roger, I'm a newbie to the MGF clan also . My F wad with mark at BMS earlier this week and that's where mine will go when it needs more work, he's a cracking bloke. All the best with the F.

Well I dropped the F off at 10am and collected it at 4pm with all the work done. Amazing. Belt, Aux belt, Kit, water pump. refilled anti freeze and pumped up the hydrogas then checked her over. All for £280. Just can't beat that for service.
