Here I can tell you the exact modifications I've made till now.
In papers I have a normal TF 1.6 115Hp ;D .Last summer I replaced the cylinder head with a brand new VVC 160 one,a Janspeed 4-2-1 exhaust manifold and sports-cat were fitted with X-Power silencer,alloy VVC inlet manifold and an ITG panel filter.After these mods the power became 137Hp....but I wanted more after few months.So,5 months ago I decided to make it 1.8 from 1.6 .The filter was replaced by an ITG Maxogen carbon and the following items were fitted: forged conrods,Omega forged pistons,brand new liners,brand new 1.8 crankshaft,lightweight flywheel,AP Racing clutch,limited slip differential torsen type from a rover 620,all interior trim was changed with a combination of leather and alcantara.Also I put Magnecor ignition leads(blue) and I replaced the front bushes with Powerflex ones.Brake discs are changed also with brand new EBC drilled & grooved(front-rear) with greenstuffs.I have also fitted the X-Power lowering springs.After the last mechanical conversion the power is 161.4.... to be continued ;D ;D ;D

very nice mate. ofcourse the "to be continued" could well include a turbo conversion.

that's quite a list, well done would it not have been cheaper just to by a 160 to start with though and work from there? Having said that i've had the lower powered car many times before and made enough changes on it to take it way past the higher engined models (not the TF though) and it is a nice feeling knowing you've accomplished it
