I know this is a bit premature, but now that I'm working away from home and missing out on all the fun, I wondered what the consensus of opinion would be on organising a run between Christmas and the New Year similar to what we did last year? Christmas Day (and therefore New Year's Day also) falls on a Monday, so allowing the turkey time to digest and the alcohol to get out of the bloodstream, was thinking that perhaps either the Thursday or Friday might suit people best? I'll probably be around those days - family visiting duties will be over by then.

Dave - Quite honestly I hadn't given it any thought at all ;D. I was just trying to gauge any level of interest to see whether it would be worthwhile pursuing.
I guess from a logistics point of view any run had better be on the 'Welsh side' of the region! That being so, I'd certainly be looking for suggestions for a lunch venue etc. It's all foreign to me ;D
[Edited later in the day to correct appalling spelling]

Can't work out why What's wrong with "your" side then? Absolutely nothing Jerry - nothing at all - the wonderful Cotswolds and all that I was just trying to make the travelling a bit more equitable for those from further afield, like our Swansea lass

I remember this one time where I got led up the mountain path .... into a foggy abyss .... quite literally. It was only a cattle grid that stood in the way of us and our impending doooooooooom It wasn't Tommy's fault though.
