Time for an alternative event I feel - something that perhaps partners can get involved with, if they are not motor-minded ;D
Horse-riding. Who is interested in this? I'm thinking of a location near Bath (Wellow) - fantastic countryside around there. I'm sure we can arrange a bit of a 'run' there and back in the F's - to keep us F-Lovers happy ;D
I will need to check on prices etc etc, it's not cheap I must say - last time I went it was £50 for 2 hours (but you can do 1 hour for £25) - but it's a fab day out, wonderful views and can be exhilarating if you fancy a canter or a gallop!
Anyway - in the first instance, can peeps let me know if they would be interested in this - I can then look at prices and dates etc.
PF ;D

Forgot to say, this is aimed at everyone, it does not matter if you haven't ridden before. All levels of competence are catered for ;D
In a group, the instructors will usually ascertain peoples abilities and experience, then divide you up, so one group can just walk all the way, the other group may want to have a bit of a trot or a canter or whatever.
As long as you are willing and able it will be fine!

Yep - put me down!!! Not sure my bottom can take 2 hours of saddle punishment, but 1 hour sounds really cool.
Question is.............will these 1 horse-power motors be running on Diesel, Unleaded, gas, grass, or a combination of all 4???
4 hoof drive is also good - haven't done any off-roading for a while now!!! ;D
Jerry should be up for this one - LOL

Put me down for a reminder of what one horsepower feels like, on the condition that someone checks I've got my stirrups before the group charges off into a gallop Fiona obviously will be parking some distance away so as not to TT the horses into nervous wrecks ;D

Ah now I've hit a stumbling block already. The place I had in mind can only cater for a maximum group of 8. I think we may exceed that ;D Not to worry, I am sourcing other venues - which I hope will be even better and from what I can see - cheaper ;D I will say now, that numbers on this jolly will be limited due to the nature of the beast ( ) ....but I will try to find the best location for us which will take a larger group. Back soon with more news... PF

Fi, You can count me out. I'm lucky enough to ride when ever I want. Lots of friends with horses through Longelete woods. Even though just turning up to watch everyone else would be worth it's weight in gold!!! Sal
