Had fanatastic day even though we're yet to warm up. The chill went straight through to the bones. Paul and I are still both gutted on getting a flat on the track. Got home OK. Good stuff that tyre filler. Hopefully last till Tuesday for when I can get to Protyre. Great meeting the new guys and all the oldies too. Dave and Brian, Thats you two :-) Hope everyone hada safe journey home. Sal

It was very cold indeed, I was glad of me fur coat ;D I took the award of being "slowest hoon around the track" ...... how embarrassingly cringy (sorry again Dave & his chum). Aside from that, it was a really good day, lots of fun. Fiona

Fiona - at least you had the nerve to go which is more than I did!
Have arrived home safe - thanks to all for a great day out - now parked in front of fire toasting my toes - good to meet up with you all again and to meet some new faces.
When toes burnt will be having a kip ;D

... Great meeting the new guys and all the oldies too. Dave and Brian, Thats you two :-) ... Thanks Sallie, I'll assume I fall into the 'younger' category ;D Had a good day, although it was VERY cold standing at Quarry for the first laps (as I'm sure Al will testify), but then, what did I say.... OK. Latest local forecast is for a minimum of -2 deg C Friday night, rising to a maximum of +3 deg C Saturday. The day is forecast to be cloudy with a 17mph North Easterly wind. If this is right, it WILL be cold. . ... ;D ;D ;D Thanks also to Mike for the choice of pub "just a couple of miles down the road" - seriously, it was a good way to round off the day.

I'm home safe too, thanks Dave, great fun and met your new recruits too. Stopped for a splash and dash on the M4, 98.9 per litre, outrageous. I'm only paying 84.9 here

Looks like you all had a good day with good (if a bit cold) weather. At least it wasn't raining/snowing. Adrian 84p petrol?! I'll have to wait until Thursday before I fill mine up and go in search of your cheap petrol, I'm paying 87.9p here. Also Dave I noticed my windstop is on your photo's page. Nice one!

Nice pics Dave, always good for pictures cold crisp days. Emma wonder how that got there ?. Dave Emma, it's called market research, put something somewhere and wait to see how long it takes someone to find it and comment he he. On the A127 one mile outside Southend, Esso station, just opposite the old MG Rover place where Steve used to work, always the cheapest for miles. My local went up to 85.9 on Wednesday, gasp Honestly, the guy in front of me paid for his fuel, I looked up when the lady said £70.64p, I looked he had nothing else in his hands, he asked for a receipt, paid and drove off. Just how big is the tank on a big BMW ? My boot is always open, usually got something for somebody in there, Al's and yours today, ha ha the Darkside has caught up with you, eaten them all yet, I must have missed you passing them round I have one 57i cone heat shield left if anyone's interested.
