Trouble is that carbon effect paint is a little bit harder to get hold of and apply Maybe the scottosh F contingent have tried it with tartan paint. Give Darren a ring at MGFnTF bitz 07854 547722. I'm sure he'll have some black ones for a small fee. He is a top guy.

It's horrible seeing the cars in the prep stage, they look so unkempt! How long have they said it'll take in total? Bet you can't wait til she's finished and blemish free again ;D

Its actually being done as part of a 3rd year college course, I let them have it for 3 months to practice on! I trust the tutors to return it in excellent condition though. They usually "pimp up" old VW vans and turn them in to surf buses, so its something different for them to practice on(!) Should get it back before Easter.

I may be getting close to getting it all done this week, just waiting for some teenagers to put everything back together....
I fear I will be presented with a box of bits that they don't know what to do with!

Thanks for the invite Dave, I really must get to more meets.
Unfortunatly I have two football mad sons who seem to have matches stacked up after a poor winter and one has a match this Thurs. I need to get in touch with the West of England guys too.
Hoping to do the Castle coombe classic, Atlantic coast run, Minehead SWARM and Wiscombe Hill climb this year, so hopefully will catch up with you guys and give you the gen on the last few months of repairs - it may help somebody to spot an early problem as I really didn't expect so much work to be needed on the rear end!
