Still undecided about Sunday but figured if I bought an advance ticket it would help me get my ar$e into gear so went on line to book this morning... advance bookings now stopped .... ah well... still a couple of days to decide... any body else thinking of going up from my way (Dinas Powys is not quite 'my way' Jerry )

Al,Jerry,i would suggest when you meet myself, Geyfox & Andrew at Raglan Services we carry on sharpish and perhaps have a quick cuppa and eats at Strensham services, Bri and i called into Raglan services last week for brekkie and it was absolutely awful, it has changed over since last year to something else and a little American type brekkie( as did no English) was about £9 each and mainly unedible,

What time is the road train rv'ing at Stoneleigh RL ? Well if we go from Strensham services back down the M5 to jcn 9 and get off onto the A46 it's only about 30miles to Stoneleigh,so about 40 mins i expect from services , we cannot get into Stoneleigh until after 10 am so we should be well within time for getting in around 10am to 10.30am if you carry on up M5 TO M42 from Services to Stoneleigh you can add another 20 miles on, well thats what my myulti map is showing me ;D Anyone else have any route suggestions from Strensham as im'e happy to follow ;D

Depending on whether I do breakfast on the hoof (or possibly not at all) I'll aim to rv at Strensham, but if everyone else is gathered then don't wait for me - the queues at Stoneleigh gates await us all. Never will you see a line of drivers glancing more nervously at their dials ;D An oil filler / dipstick assembly is top of my shopping list, and I'll be trampling over anyone who gets in my way (don't say I didn't warn you!), perhaps even offering a bounty to anyone who sleuths one out for me Once that is fitted, all evidence of what happens when your engine attempts to leave your F by force will be forgotten... And I won't have to check the oil level by draining and refilling, that's very useful

Last year, in mid June, when I had finished the up-front PRT, we went to Bovey Tracy. On the first major run after fitting it all in, we got stuck on the M5 at Taunton for ages in blazing heat The car survived after seeing others boil up on the hard shoulder, so I'm pretty confident now of the operation of the PRT. After Bovey Tracy we then had a blast down to Dartmouth, Kingsbridge, Totnes and home. Talk about a baptism by fire - car was fine.

past 4 years iv'e been going to Stoneleigh iv'e not had to get in big Queue of cars ,well not for very long at all that is,have you bought your tkts in adavance Mike?, but i guess this year could be different ha ha as i think big car boot sale on as well, one reason i like to get advanced tkts is you don't have to queue up in pay line,we can walk straight in ;D i have to go on Register stand at about 11am for little while and do my stint, but will save me spending too much ha ha, see you Sunday peeps ;D
