Had a fun evening at this indoor one, on the outskirts of Newport.... www.supakart.co.uk/The bridges and 'corkscrew' certainly made for some zany racing! Oh and by the way this is what a podium medal looks like... If the Newport one is still there, it was awesome. Bridge, 90* right, jump in the air on bend, fast carts, red hot exhausts!!!

This is the Bristol track I went to, albeit a couple of years ago. Can't find a web site for it at present.
Bristol Karting Centre 214-224 Broomhill Road, Brislington, Bristol 0117 977 0600
Must admit though - the Newport one looks pretty damn good to me!!!!

Seems like a popular idea! March 19th is good for me. I don't mind which side of the bridge we race on.Maybe we should hold a home and away two parter-say 6 months apart just to stir up the English v Welsh competition ;D.

Good idea Blue ;D, im'e going to stay out of where this one is going to be held at as never done it before , but have to say that Newport track looks tempting and can feel a poll coming on of the places perhaps, would be nice to get venue agreed then we can start getting the names in asap to pe book us in if we have to. i don't mind ringing up if we can get venue aggreed can't find the Bristol one Broomhill rd. Who's gonna pick then?? we have so far, www.supakart.co.uk/home.htmwww.theraceway.co.uk/prices.htmwww.stathan.com/Karting/LLandow_Circuit/Llandow-main.htmat Mo Date is March 19th List of Names, well to start of, me ;D Dave & Evelyn

I'd prefer the Bristol, Avonmouth one, or if not the Newport one. I think the Llandow one is a bit far for us english f-ers. How's about a vote on Newport and Avonmouth - then race at the winner is March, and a re-match later in the year at the other track.

not wishing to get into the "Wales vs SW" argument but I can vouch for the Llandow circuit as posted by DM. It is 10mins walk from me and is seriously good, only problem is (unless you like sliding around in wet) it is outdoor although floodlit. Don't know if i can make the date due to work commitments wherever the event is held but if Llandow gets the vote i am happy to make the initial contact.
Best regards Dave D

Mark (Blueroadster) definately in. I'm happy with the GP2 option at £40 to help keep costs down. Just let me know when you require a deposit. Thanks,Mark.
