Hello!!!
Can you put me on your list as a 'possible' please? Not totally sure if I'm free at the moment....
Thanks!
Oh, almost forgot...I'm the wrong side of Yeovil and only approximately 20 minutes away so won't be joining a run in.

If we go down the M5 to Taunton turn off, is there still a layby with Cafe on the right on the Ilminster road? Just wondering.

Just outside Taunton? Yes, but you're not supposed to cross the cariageway. Never stops anyone else though

Yep - that layby and coffee stop is still there - not sure if it's open on a sunday though!!!!!
Plus, if you go down to taunton etc, it's a very long way round for you lot - you have to come a long way back up the A303 to get to Sparkford!!!!
Plus - it's all dreaded motorways and dual carriageways - how boring!!!!
I'm gonna go cross-country from Bridgwater!!!! Don't know if you all wanna meet me off junction 23 - there's a layby as you take the 3rd exit off - then we can turn around at dunball and head via the 'Piper's' Inn on the A39, across the top, through Kings Weston, or even out through bridgwater, langport etc. Maps are attached. I can print out some directions, or post them on here, if anyone's interested in this route - trust me, I travel this route very often and spesh the langport route - there are a couple of low bridges and some real nice twisty lanes to go down - it really is a sepsh route - not quite wales but really good for somerset - and not a dula carriageway or motorway in site.

I was just throwing a suggestion as we needed to get a route suggested for this side of the bridge. I'll do dual carriageways, Motorways or twisty roads, don't mind but we do need to get things arranged and times sorted. If you think that the pink route is the best then we'll follow you. You know how long it'll take to drive from the meet point to Haynes. We just need to arrange a time to meet everyone at Junction 23. Sal

I'm up for Jay's proposal to meet at J23 on M5 (let's decide a time ;D ), and then take a cross country route to Sparkford. If everyone agrees, then perhaps Fiona & I can meet the Welsh contingent at Easton Gordano Service on the M5 45 mins before we need to meet Jay? (Dave - These are the services at J19 M5, for which you need to come off the motorway). Sallie - you're welcome to join us of course - it just seems a long way round for you!
Does this sound like the basis of a plan, or has anyone got any better ideas? ;D

I'm happy either way, it's the same distance to Bridgwater or to Taunton from me. Just hope they've finished the roadworks by then, as the Minehead-Bridgwater road is shut at nights currently. Personaly I think it's just to keep the Bridgwater lot out

im'e ok with meeting some of you at jcn19 Gordano Services M5 that was original plan to be there for about 9am and to be at Haynes for approx 10am, so Jays route would get us there in time ok, Welsh side still the same meet point at Magor Services 8.30am. Dave

I'm up for meeting at the services. No point me coming the other way as it wouldn't feel like an F run if I join you at Haynes!. I'll join the M4 at Bath. Won't take too long to zip down M4 and then M5 Sal
