Have had email from Haynes today, They are expecting us, and as over 15 of us we will have entrance discount ;D plan is to try and arrive there around 10am,will sort out some meet up points shortly. Yep Fiona, they are about 1 mile apart, you do not have to go to both, just an idea, but if you've not been before and even if you have it's well worth a vist of both, idea is Haynes in Morning and Air museum afternoon, but if we have over 15 peeps discount comes into play, Dave

I think the plan is to do one in the morning and the other in the afternoon Fi - Never been to either myself but accordingly to maps from links at the beginnng of this thread museums are off A303 (near Wincanton) .

Both museums are great well worth a visit only being to Haynes once great time there good cafe may do hot dogs. ;D Fleet air arm museum is outstanding its got one of the first concords inside and a really realistic flight deck and it has a cafe not as good as Haynes but OK for a cuppa. Dave arriving at 10 o'clock early start then.
